I’ve seen this on almost every other blog I read (like Bower Power and MarshMellowGoodness) and thought it was a really fun way to review what 2010 was all about – where we’ve been, what we’ve done, who we’ve seen, etc. So since the first week of January isn’t over yet (I’m counting this weekend, of course) I figured I still have time to do this fun blog post. I hope that over the next year I can be better at documenting life. With my two bonuses from the end of last year being paid out soon I hope to set aside a little of the money for a camera – I hope that will help me record life as it happens over the next 365 358 days.
Without further ado…here’s what went down in 2010
JANUARY
We visited Reynolds Plantation in Lake Oconee and decided we would get married at the lake….we thought we were going to get married here…
FEBRUARY
We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Oya in DC
And had a Crawfish feast for Mardi Gras at Clyde’s
MARCH
We traveled to Colombia to celebrate our friends’ wedding – it was quite the adventure!
APRIL
We took engagement photos in Piedmont Park before we went for our cake tasting and venue visiting
MAY
I had my bridal shower
And we went to NYC to visit my childhood friend for her birthday and see my Uncle’s play Everday Rapture
JUNE
We bought a new car!!
And got our marriage license!
JULY
We started off the July 4th weekend with the Nationals game
AUGUST
We got married!!! It was the best day ever!
SEPTEMBER
We came back from our honeymoon, got settled back at home, and went hiking/camping with friends
OCTOBER
We attended the Rally for Sanity in DC after walking almost 4 miles to get there!
NOVEMEBER
Before going to Georgia for real Thanksgiving we had potluck Thanksgiving with friends
DECEMBER
We moved in to our new house!!
And celebrated a wonderful year with good friends at Tonic in DC
