With Thanksgiving on the horizon, I’m beginning to realize that fall is coming to a close. However, there are still a few short weeks that we can enjoy all that fall has to offer. One of my favorite things about fall is pumpkin beer. It goes down smooth and has a sweet taste with a tangy after-taste. It goes perfectly with cheese (think, Gruyere) and is better enjoyed while curled up on the couch, especially with some sweetly scented candles burning in the background. I’m not that familiar with types of pumpkin beer, but I’ve included a few that I like. With only 29 days to Winter you better drink it while it’s hot….err, cold.
Beer #1 – Williamsburg Alewerks, Pumpkin Ale (bought at Whole Foods, and what I am drinking at this moment!)
Beer #2 – Dogfish Head Craft Brewed, Punkin’ Ale (I love Dogfish Head Brewery – stop by in Rehoboth Beach, DE)
Beer #3 – Blue Moon, Harvest Pumpkin Ale
